An original hand colored print titled: Frankreich. Grenadier 1853, Fusilier 1861, Infanterist 1869, Linien-Infanterie unter Napoleon III (Parade-Uniformen). 1853-1869. It is Band X, Plate 9, Uniformenkunde Gesamtverzeichnis no. 281, from the Uniformenkunde series of 1060 plates created by Richard Knotel to illustrate world uniforms from the 17th century to just prior to WWI.
The plate is from the original 1899 printing by Max Babenzien in Rathenow.
The condition is as shown in the product images which are photographs of the actual plate. The plate is in good condition with some discoloration and a tear on the right edge. There is a dealer's stamp on the back.
