An original hand colored print titled: Nassau. Artillerie-Offizier, Infanterie-Offizier, Infanterist, Jager, Schutze, Infanterist, Herzoglich Nassau'sche Truppen. 1862-66. It is Band II, Plate 20, Uniformenkunde Gesamtverzeichnis no. 489, from the Uniformenkunde series of 1060 plates created by Richard Knotel to illustrate world uniforms from the 17th century to just prior to WWI.
The plate is from the original 1891 printing by Max Babenzien in Rathenow.
The condition is as shown in the product images which are photographs of the actual plate. The plate is in fair condition with yellowing, particularly in the main area of the print that was not covered by a previous mounting, and some wear around the edges. There are the remnants of two mounting tabs along the top of the back.
