An original hand colored print titled: Frankreich. Soldaten der Centrums-Kompagnien, Voltigeur (Parade), Reitender Jager (feldmassig), Portugiesische Legion. 1812. It is Band IV, Plate 33, Uniformenkunde Gesamtverzeichnis no. 235, from the "Uniformenkunde", a series of 1060 military uniform prints created by Richard Knotel to illustrate world uniforms from the 17th century to just prior to WWI.
The plate is from the original 1893 printing by Max Babenzien in Rathenow.
The condition is as shown in the product images which are photographs of the actual plate. The plate is in good condition with some yellowing and wear around the edges. There is a dealer's stamp on the back.
