An antique uniform print titled: Frankfurt am Main. Gemeiner, Sapeur, Offizier zur Parade, Offizier im Ueberrock, Trommler, Linien-Bataillon der freien Reichsstadt Frankfurt am Main. 1848. It is Band XIV, Plate 44, Uniformenkunde Gesamtverzeichnis no. 805, from the Uniformenkunde series of 1060 plates created by Richard Knotel to illustrate world uniforms from the 17th century to just prior to WWI.
The plate is from the 1932 reprint by Diepenbroick-Gruter & Schulz in Hamburg.
The condition is as shown in the product images which are photographs of the actual plate. The plate is in good condition. There are the remains of a glue strip on the right edge where the plate was attached to the original book. There are a couple of dealer's notes in pencil at the top of the back.
