An original hand colored print titled: Oesterreich-Ungarn. Sereschaner vom Gradiskaner Grenz-Infanterie Regiment Nr. 8., Sereschaner-Offizier vom Ottochaner Grenz-Infanterie Regiment Nr. 1., Sereschaner. 1848. It is Band X, Plate 25, Uniformenkunde Gesamtverzeichnis no. 601, from the Uniformenkunde series of 1060 plates created by Richard Knotel to illustrate world uniforms from the 17th century to just prior to WWI.
The plate is from the original 1899 printing by Max Babenzien in Rathenow.
The condition is as shown in the product images which are photographs of the actual plate. The plate is in good condition with some discoloration around the edges. There are the remains of a glue strip on the left edge of the back where the plate was previously glued into a book.
